3rd Workshop on Blockchain for 5G/6G, IoT and CPS 2020

While, the end-users are awaiting to witness the thrill of next-level of applications and the industries along with the regulatory bodies are engrossed in rolling-out 5G mobile networks globally, it would be interesting to investigate how 5G scales to voluminous and heterogeneous data traffic as well as security and privacy requirements. IoT, being one of the predominant use case of 5G and 6G, is expected to contribute significantly to the future traffic. Further, as per the trend, 5G and 6G are going to be increasingly softwarized, virtualized, cloudified and edgified for the obvious advantages. Nevertheless, softwarization of future wireless networks will also increase the possibilities of security breaches, data privacy vulnerabilities, malicious access control, illicit utilization of resources, installation of unauthentic virtual network functions, etc. To mitigate these issues, blockchain technology can offer intriguing solutions since it allows decentralization, cryptographic immutability, consensus-driven updates, transparency, and auditability.  This workshop will elaborate and emphasize the key aspects of use of blockchain for 5G/6G, IoT and CPS, and will provide the opportunity for the researchers across the globe to share their latest research on the focal theme of the workshop.

Acceptance Notification: June 30, 2020 July 15, 2020
Camera-Ready Submission: July 31, 2020
